I don’t think there is any dessert that can top off Italian ice cream, especially on a hot summer day. I may be biased, I am willing to admit it – as I do have a soft spot for Italy, but let’s face it, can anyone say no to creamy, melts in your mouth, sweet sugary ice cream on a hot day, or any day for that matter?
I know I sure can’t do that, I’ll take ice cream any day of the week, and twice on Sunday. :-))
If you find yourself in Italy, it doesn’t really matter which city, do yourself a favor, walk into any ice cream shop – gelateria – and choose from literally the dozens of flavors they have. It’s quite impossible not to find one you’ll like.

It’s those best kept secrets that make you go „awwww” each time you taste an Italian gelato with one, two, three „gusti” (flavors) – who’s counting anyway?
